Early Learning
Ages 6 Weeks- 5 Years
Our early learners are independent explorers whose minds are developing rapidly. CWA provides a safe environment that supports their development. Our youngest scholars begin to participate in structured activities that are designed to encourage the development of their fine and gross motor skills, speech, listening skills, comprehension skills, and early literacy skills.

NC Pre-K
Ages 4/5
CWA proudly offers North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten Program (NC Pre-K) to ensure eligible children receive a high-quality pre-kindergarten experience that prepares them for long-term academic success.
The NC Pre-K Program is designed to provide high-quality educational experiences to enhance school readiness for eligible four-year-old children. The NC Pre-K Program Requirements are built on the National Education Goals Panel’s premise that to be successful academically in school, children need to be prepared in all five of the developmental domains that are critical to children’s overall well-being and success in reading and math as they enter school:
-
Approaches to play and learning
-
Emotional and social development
-
Health and Physical Development
-
Language development and communication
-
Cognitive development
NC Pre-K registration for the 25-26 School Year is to be completed through Buncombe Partnership for Children.
